Who we are
NailIt (asknailitai.com) is operated by Veridian Group Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States. Veridian Group Inc. is the controller of the personal information described below. Reach us at support@asknailitai.com.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an email link, we only receive your email address.
- What you type and upload. Project descriptions, room sizes, budgets, colours, and any photos you attach so an estimate can be generated.
- Saved projects. Estimates you choose to save, so they follow you between devices.
- Usage counts. How many estimates you have run, so monthly limits can be applied.
- Technical logs. IP address, browser user-agent and requested page, written to server logs for security and abuse prevention.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Anthropic — your project description and any photos you attach are sent to the Claude API to generate the estimate.
- Product search providers (RapidAPI, and the retailers' own sites) — search keywords for materials only, never your account details.
- YouTube (Google) — search terms used to find tutorial videos for your project steps.
- Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager — standard web analytics about page visits.
- Resend — your email address, only when sending a sign-in link.
Cookies and local storage
NailIt stores your sign-in token and your saved projects in your browser's local storage. Analytics cookies are set by Google Tag Manager. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and removes locally saved projects.
How long we keep it
Account and saved-project data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are short-lived and used only for security.
Deleting your data
Email support@asknailitai.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will remove your account, saved projects and usage records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at the address above and we will action it.
Children
NailIt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Affiliate links
Some retailer links are affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure. Retailers set their own cookies once you follow a link to their site; their privacy policies apply there.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
